New: Overages & Excess Proceeds Search

We just added a brand new tool to FastLien - you can now search for overages and excess proceeds from tax sales across the United States.

What are overages?

When a property is sold at a tax sale for more than the amount owed, the extra money - called "overages" or "excess proceeds" - belongs to the former property owner. Many people never claim these funds, and they can range from a few hundred dollars to tens of thousands.

What you can do with this new feature

  • Search records across 26 states - Browse through unclaimed surplus funds from tax sales, all in one place
  • Filter by state and county - Quickly narrow down results to find the records you are looking for
  • Sort by amount - See the largest unclaimed amounts first so you can prioritize your research
  • Download source files - Access the original excess proceeds documents directly from the platform

How to access it

You will find the new "Overages" section in your FastLien dashboard navigation. This feature is available on Starter plans and above.

We will keep adding more states and counties over time, so check back regularly for fresh data.
