Introducing Collections: AI-Powered Meta Trends

We are excited to introduce Collections — a new way to explore the bigger picture behind individual trends.

What Are Collections?

Collections are AI-generated macro trend themes that group related micro trends together. Instead of looking at trends one by one, Collections reveal the larger patterns and connections between them.

Each Collection has two layers:

• Inner Ring — The core trends that define the theme, ranked by search volume
• Outer Ring — Related trends that orbit around the core, adding context and breadth

AI-Powered Discovery

A weekly enrichment job analyzes all curated trends across every category and uses AI to identify recurring macro themes. The system works in two passes:

1. Pass 1 discovers themes within each category 2. Pass 2 finds cross-category relationships between themes

This means a Collection like "Sustainable Fashion" might connect trends from both the Fashion and Sustainability categories.

Collections Map

The new Collections Map gives you a bird's-eye view of all meta trends and how they connect. Each collection is a node on an interactive graph, with edges showing shared trends and related themes. It is the fastest way to spot emerging macro patterns.

Collection Detail Pages

Each Collection has its own detail page showing:

• An AI-generated analysis explaining the macro trend
• Inner and outer ring trends with charts and pace indicators
• Related meta trends for further exploration
• Category context and trend counts

How to Access

Collections are available from the main navigation for all logged-in users. Browse the full list, explore the visual map, or dive into individual collection pages to understand how micro trends connect into bigger movements.
