Trend Forecasting: See Where Trends Are Heading

Ever wished you could see into the future of a trend? Now you can.

We've added trend forecasting to Treendly - every trend now shows a 1-year forecast so you can see whether interest is likely to grow, stay flat, or decline.

How it works

When you visit any trend page, you'll see a dashed line extending beyond the current data on the chart. That's the forecast - our best estimate of where the trend is heading over the next 12 months. The shaded area underneath gives you a visual sense of the projected trajectory.

Filter trends by forecast

Looking specifically for growing or declining trends? We've added a new forecast filter across all trend listing pages - products, concepts, companies, and the homepage. Just select "Growth", "Flat", or "Decline" to narrow down the list.

Seasonal trends get special treatment

Trends that follow seasonal patterns (think holiday-related topics, back-to-school, summer activities) are now clearly labeled. The forecast takes seasonality into account, so you get more accurate predictions for these cyclical trends.

What you can do with this

  • Validate ideas - Check if a niche or product category is trending up before investing time
  • Spot declining markets - Avoid jumping into trends that are losing steam
  • Plan ahead - Use forecasts to time your content, launches, or inventory decisions
  • Compare trends - Filter by growth to find the most promising opportunities
This is a big step toward making Treendly not just a tool for understanding what's happening now, but for anticipating what's coming next.
